I don’t offer a lot of freebies. 🙊
.
I know that’s what all the funnel gurus tell you to do if you want to rake in prospective buyers.
But it doesn’t work.
You’ve heard all the advice, but you’re still scratching your head wondering how to make money selling digital products.
What happens when you offer a freebie is that you get a whole lot of leads… but they don’t actually buy anything.
They’re freebie seekers. They tank your stats, and all you have to show for your hard work is a bloated email list.
That doesn’t sound like living the dream to me…
What you really need is a system to bring in buyers (not freeloaders) from day one so you can go from zero prospects to unbelievable profit like so many of my other clients.
(Psst… This system also works if you’ve already created a list of freebie seekers or another engaged list.)

How to take your business from prospect to profit in 3 easy steps
We like to say that we became entrepreneurs to do what we love… to help people… to provide real solutions to a specific audience.
But realistically, it all comes back to the money.
Because when you don’t have financial independence, you don’t have the freedom to pursue your passions.
But how do you get to the point where you are making enough residual income that you can spend your hours doing what you really want to do?
You have to have a well-oiled system in place for attracting “buyer” clients, engaging them with really useful filler offers, and providing even more solutions with follow up offers.
Here’s a quick and dirty, top-down view of the system that helped my client Jane Mukami double her business in 2020.
It’s the same system that helped my client Sarah Noftle increase her profit from $13 to over $100 PER DAY from one of her funnels—in just 3 months.
STEP 1 – Leadbundle funnel. STEP 2 – Filler offers. STEP 3 – Follow up offer.
Let’s dive in and I’ll tell you how to make money selling digital products online.
Step 1: Freebies don’t work. LeadBundles™ do.
Like I said, I don’t offer a lot of freebies, and you shouldn’t either.
When was the last time you checked your downloads folder? That’s the place where freebies go to die…
The problem with using freebies as lead magnets is that you are attracting freeloaders who aren’t ever going to buy from you. They’re looking for something quick and easy without putting any skin in the game, and their record shows that they aren’t going to spend money on your products and services any time soon.
So what if you just excluded them from day 1?
Good news! You can.
Just swap out your freebie for a low-ticket digital product, and you’ve got a qualifier that keeps the freeloaders out and the buyers on deck.
So you could just throw a price sticker on your freebie and call it good then, right?
Not so fast.
When your audience makes a purchase, what they are really buying is the solution, the whole solution, and nothing but the solution.
Thus, your low-ticket digital offer should be a full and specific solution to a specific problem for a specific person, and the best way to package it is as a LeadBundle™.
The definition of a LeadBundle™ is a bundle of products that includes the main solution PLUS bonuses that work together to solve your ideal client’s specific problem.
It’s a great way to get started if you don’t have an audience yet. You don’t need to wait to sell. You can start making sales right away because you’re going to sell it to a cold audience (an audience that doesn’t know you yet) with Facebook Ads.
Before you run out the door… I know Facebook advertising sounds scary. You imagine yourself up late every night, sitting in your jammies on the couch googling things like, “How long for Facebook ads to start running” and you don’t want to go there again.
But it’s not that bad once you get the hang of it. Check out my digital product launch plan
blog for some insider tips on running ads to your low-ticket digital products and what to do after product launch.
Step 2 – The power of offer stacking.
Offer stacking is a great option for cranking up your revenue while bringing in more leads and hanging on tight to your “buyer” clients.
But, Kristen, there’s only so much creating one solopreneur can do.
I know, right.
The problem with doing it all on your own is that you’re going to get stuck at some point. You’re going to hit a wall where you’re putting so many hours into your business, you don’t see a possibility of moving to the next level. You’re only human after all.
It takes 2-3 months to create another launch or LeadBundle™.
That’s why some genius invented affiliate offers.
Here’s how it works.
You have your list of buyers. They bought your very first lead bundle, and they’re loving the solutions you provided them.
But pretty soon, they’re gonna want to buy something else. And if you’re not ready with an offer in hand, they’re moving on, Sister.
So, you keep in contact through weekly emails. You don’t let them feel neglected. And once a month, you sell them someone else’s product (the filler offer).
The key to the filler offer is that you need to make it special by providing a bonus (something like a printable guide on the same topic as the offer or an event created around the offer) that they can’t get anywhere else. Find a way to make your affiliate offer stand out in a crowd.
Just be really clear that you’ll be profiting from the purchase.
This is a great idea for entrepreneurs from every legit zone you can think of for how to make money online from home:
- MLMs
- Service Providers
- Product Creators
- Coaches
You don’t want your buyer clients to fall off your email list between your launches. It’s so much easier to sell to your buyers and increase the lifetime value of your customer than it is to make new customers come to you.

Step 3 – Follow Up Offers. The big reveal.
Your follow up offer(s) can be anything.
- Big course
- High ticket DIY service
- Physical products
- Done-for-you services
Maybe you’re thinking, “Girl, this is what got me in trouble in the first place. I’ve tried selling to my audience, and I didn’t have any takers…”
But this is different.
Remember that you weeded out the freeloaders with your LeadBundle™. Now you have an engaged list of people who have a record of buying from you.
As long as you started with the end in mind, you’re golden!
What do I mean by that?
When you create your LeadBundle™ and your filler offers, you need to know where you want your people to end up. Make sure that your LeadBundle™ and filler offers are aligned with your big product or service and have your ideal client’s pain points or aspirations in mind—before the launch.
The worst thing you could do is create a LeadBundle™ that doesn’t lead to your follow-up offer.
You want to make sure both offers are in the same industry and you lead your people into what’s coming next.
What’s coming next?
Remember how I mentioned some of my clients who have seen HUGE success using this exact system?
Well, the secret to their success is that they didn’t try to DIY everything.
Is it possible to figure it out and do it all on your own? Sure. But what’s missing in the DIY is accountability and feedback.
You think you’re following the system and doing everything right, but there’s a nagging feeling in the pit of your stomach that you might have missed a step or that your LeadBundle™ could be better.
Feedback is so important. You want to have eyes on your stuff so that you don’t have any delays on the superhighway to that entrepreneur dream we were talking about. You know, the one where you can actually help more people and do the things that you want to do.
That’s why I created the Six Figure Facebook group and my LeadBundle™ Accelerator Program.
You don’t need to be a solopreneur who DIYs everything. There’s so much more value and potential when you team up with entrepreneurs who are walking the same road. And you can get there even faster when you have expert advice.
You can jump into the Six Figure Facebook group any time, but the Accelerator Program only opens up a couple times a year. If you missed it, no worries! Just click the contact tab above, and I will get you on the waiting list so you can be ready when it opens back up the next time.
But if you really can’t wait, grab a slot on my calendar, and let’s chat about how I can help you move toward the entrepreneur life of your dreams.
