When your goal is to create and sell digital products, you tend to think practically. And for the most part, my advice is practical when it comes to your digital product launch: follow the steps, put in the work, and get it in front of as many people as possible.
It’s a technical business.
But there’s an impractical side to it as well—one that only you can measure.
Because I’ve found a puzzling trend in my years of client work… Some of the clients who do all the steps and put in all the work are successful but some are not.
Why?
Because those who aren’t successful are missing the one step that seems impractical but is vital to the success of the launch:

>>Believing that they are going to succeed.<<
See, when you believe you will be successful, nothing can stop you.
In fact, the strength of your belief determines the speed of your success.
On the other hand, when you have a negative mindset, you sabotage your efforts subconsciously. You could still be successful, but it may take longer.
Using the power of mindset to improve your digital product launch plan
I know I said this advice would be impractical. But there are some practical steps you can take to ensure that you take care of your mindset during a digital product launch.
Know what success means to you
First and foremost, success means something different to everyone. Don’t get ahead of yourself. If you set unreachable goals, you’re going to be disappointed.
When you understand what success would mean to you can aim for something that is practical and within reach and guard your positivity level.
For example, maybe success is simply launching; or maybe success would be hitting six figures. It all depends on your level of experience, so set the bar appropriately.
Set micro goals
Your high level goal is important (the total amount you will make or the total number of sales you will close), but setting micro goals on the path to the big goal is just as important for your mindset.
Little things like – someone will share a post, someone will buy on day 1, that kind of thing.
I know… the mindset doesn’t seem super important when you have your nose to the grindstone, but micro goals will help you to stay positive and energetic during the launch, especially because you can’t celebrate your total number of sales until the end.
Keep up your momentum
Hitting those micro goals will build momentum and keep you positive and energetic during the launch.
That means you will want to keep showing up and putting in the work because you have so many wins happening daily. It’s a practical way to increase the speed of your success.
If your energy takes a dip, you have to go back up. It’s easier to stay in a high vibe than to get back to feeling positive.
The way I do it is to be sure that I take lots of breaks. Identify any negative self talk ASAP and shake it off.
Practice self-care—yes, even on launch day
Most of all, don’t sabotage all your hard work by neglecting yourself. Plan ahead for the stress of the launch by setting aside time to do things that will affect your mindset and energy for the better.
Taking care of yourself should be your number one priority.
Here are some ways you can implement self-care during your digital product launch:
- Protect your positivity
- Be around people and do things that make you happy
- Get lots of sleep.
- Drink plenty of water.
- Try to avoid alcohol
- Do something that makes you feel good every day.
Your customers will respond to the way you continue to show up and stay positive. I promise you won’t regret it.
